• AGILE AMSTERDAM 2022

Agile Amsterdam nourishes and cultivates the agile mindset

'Better than any formal training. Get tomorrow's training from today's leading companies and voices.'

'Walk away with hands-on techniques that you can apply immediately in your team and company.'

'Are you coming by yourself? Register for a seat on one of our lunch tables.'

This lustrum year we have three tracks, and the agenda allows you to switch tracks easily.
  • Agile adoption accelerates

We see an explosive increase in Agile adoption across the functions of the organization, and across all industries, including our Schooling System [1][2].

Why is that? What are our Experiences, Opportunities, Trends and Challenges? What about Agile Frameworks, Techniques and Tools? How do you introduce Agility in traditional organizations?

This lustrum year, we offer 3 exciting tracks to discuss Agile Adoption.

Each track is interactive, with a good mix of speakers and workshops.

You can easily switch from one track to the other.

    Track 1 | Visionaries

Speakers will take us through the current state of Agility and on the outlook for the coming years.

    Track 2 | Companies

We have selected an exciting subset of companies that we can learn from.

    Track 3 | Education

Agile adoption is particularly accelerating in schools. For this reason, we decided that they earned their own track in our lustrum edition.

Stay tuned as we add more detailed descriptions to our 2022 Master Classes

Option 1 | Change! An agile approach to change (large and small)

    by Joe Krebs

For anyone who wants to learn and apply new, hands-on techniques.

We expect Change Agents, from Scrum masters, Agile Coaches, Product Owners to Leadership roles.

The Agile Transformation Kata (ATK) is a scientific approach to practice agile transformations. It is a structured training routine to learn something new or unfamiliar, until the practice becomes a new habit. This Kata is very different compared to other approaches, as it uses an agile mindset during the transformation process itself. This truly shapes the agile culture in all aspects of an organization and will lead to business agility.

Option 2 | The top 10 Product Ownership masteries.

    by Nils Oud

For anyone who is responsible for a product.

We expect Product Owners, Product Managers and other product related stakeholders (like managers and executives.

Learn what product ownership is all about. Ever heard of the three V's? Have you ever tried to map your stakeholders? And what about saying no. So many techniques and traits are out there. Let's zoom in on the top 10 masteries of the Product Owner.

Option 3 | Change! With the liberating structures

    by Tante Lean

For anyone that wants to learn and apply new, hands-on techniques.

We expect Scrum masters, Agile Coaches, Team members, Product Owners, and Leadership.

When you feel included and engaged, do you do a better job? Do you think teams in which people work well together produce much better results? Have you noticed the best ideas often come from unexpected sources? Do you want to work at the top of your intelligence and give the same opportunity to others?

If YES, we have found this is the kind of organization and community that people want to be part of. AND, Liberating Structures help make it happen.

    Agenda and Speaker Changes

Agile Amsterdam is doing its upmost best to adhere to any published agenda and list of speakers. However, it can always happen that a speaker or company declines or wants a change in assigned slot last minute for any reason beyond our control. We apologize for this and for any inconvenience caused, however, we will always find an alternative and we make sure that the entire content of our event is rich enough to deal with such an exceptional situation.

    Master Class Changes

As an organizer, it is our commitment to attract as many students as possible for our offered classes so that learning is optimal. However, sometimes it is beyond our control that in a highly exceptional case a certain class may not attract enough participants for meaningful learning. When this happens, we are committed to informing our students at least 4 weeks ahead of the anticipated start date, offer the registered students an alternative discounted learning track, and when this is not feasible or accepted by the registered student, refund the ticket price entirely and immediately.

    Master Class Trainers

As an organizer, we are committed to assigning a qualified trainer to our classes (preferably Scrum.org, IC Agile Institute and/or SAFe licensed). As all our trainers are of the highest standards, we exercise the right to assign a specific trainer to a class as we deem most appropriate. This means that a last-minute change in trainer may be possible.

      Casa Hotel Special Offer

Negotiation is under way. Normally, we negotiate a discount of 10%.

      Other hotels

The nearby hotels that we approached, claim that their best prices can be found via the larger hotel sites, such as:

We, therefore, recommend using these booking sites.

      Tickets

At the event itself, there is no need to bring your ticket with you. We use a guest list.

      Theme Lunch

When we get closer to the event, we will contact you to see if you are interested to join a theme lunch with us. We will organize different "theme" tables and this offers you a nice opportunity to meet some other attendees and to discuss your topic of interest.
